Animation Fundamentals
Week 5 : Lecture
For this week we discussed on a principle of animation which is anticipation and secondary action.
1. Anticipation
Anticipation is the preparation for an action that communicates what is going to happen. Its giving the main action look more realistic such as a jumping action where the bending of the knee downwards to gain energy for the jump.

2. Secondary Action
Secondary actions are actions that happen because of the primary action. This action are not secondary animations or secondary motion but more of movements that are dependent upon other active movement or overlapping action.

Practical
This is the rough sketch for the frog mage walk cycle.
Finished walk cycle on week 6.
Reflection
It was my first time animating walk cycle for characters the proper way. So this was a bit difficult for me but then the references and formula provided during lecture and tutorial were sufficient for me to understand the poses and in between needed for walk cycles. Overall I actually had fun doing this project.
