Week 3 : Lecture

This week we discussed on compositions and how to apply different compositions for different scenes. 

Types of compositions:

• Establishing
• Bird's Eye view
• Framing
• Medium Shot
• Close-up
• Worm's Eye view

Composition rule number 1 is to balance out the distribution of positive and negative spaces.

Practical

For practical, we were tasked to create our environment/background for the vormator character. Below are the sketches that I came up with. The environment has water or is underwater because my character is water type.

We were also taught how to add textures and using blending modes on our chiaroscuro pear.

Also I experimented with different color combinations on my vormator design.
