Week 2 : Lecture
This week we discussed on character design and how it affects viewers perspective. We were taught on the principles of character design.

1.Shapes
Shapes helps define a characters silhouette and gives the character a certain personality. Certain shapes like squares makes a character look stable and put together. While circles makes the character look more soft and gentle.

2.Color
Colors also affects the characters personality as bright colors tend to show that the character is cheerful and happy while dark and dim colors make the character feel more dull, sad or mysterious.

3.Emphasis & Contrast
Emphasis and contrast is when you exaggerate the parts of the character to make it more outstanding and memorable. These exaggeration makes the character more unique even though it doesn't comply to realism.

4.Harmony
All shapes, lines, color, motifs, patterns must be put together in a tasteful manner. Every element must work well as a whole

5.Expressions/Pose
Expressions and poses allows to the character to visually show how they feel and what their personalities are. This helps the audience understand and connect with the character.
